Fifth day

Read Luke 4, 16-21

Ensure you are centered in yourself

Do you need to be freed from something?

What criticisms bother you most?

What things, ideas, in conversation bother you?

What wounds do you think you have, phisical, psychological, moral?

What broken relationships with others?

You should reflect and make notes, writing, if possible, with the answers to the questions.

Then try to pray

                  In silence WORSHIP

Try to LISTEN :  "I have come to bring freedom....."

Ask God for whatever occurs to you in this moment.

Jesus Christ loves me.  Jesus Christ is my great friend.  The Lord, Son of the Most Holy Virgin Mary.  The Lord of Bethlehem, of Nazareth, of the Cross.  The Lord of the Eucarist.......  He loves me, with my charchter, with my wounds, with my problems and interests.

Perhaps routine spoils this sublime truth, or desenchantment, so many times experienced in human life, makes us take a sceptical attitude.

Nevertheless, it is the truth.  Far more beautiful than what we could dream.  The Lord loves me.  He loved me first, even before I could think of Him, He loved me. "With perpetual Charity I loved you"  (Jeremiah 31, 3)

The Lord has always loved me.  I look back over the most important times:  the Lord loves me.  I leave behind the limits of history:  the Lord loves me, and He does so with immense tenderness.

He has chosen me as a friend and wants me to be with him for all eternity.

Finish with the usual prayers
