Fourth day

Look back on your life, your history (broadly)

(You should prepare 33 small cards.  In each one you put a moment of your life, with the relevant date if you remember it).

Think about the positive moments.

The best of your life

All that for which you should give thanks

Remember three negative moments

Did your life take a wrong turning at any moment?

Write about all this.

Read slowly, the parable of the Prodigal Son:  Luke 15, 11-32.

With which of the characters do I most identify myself?

PRAY and place yourself in the arms of God the Father who is merciful.

"Soul of Christ, sanctify me".

Help me to have one ideal in my life, which I will never give up, from which nothing can separate me.  An ideal that endures through illness, through human failure, through difficulties.

To love you and that others should know you, love you and imitate you, as did the Father of the Prodigal Son.

Lord, grant me that I may make mine the principles so clearly shown to us  by You:

            Happiness is in the Beatitudes.

Apostolic efficiency:  You can do nothing without Me.

If the grain of corns does not die...

Our giving of self:  "Thy will be done"

And our charity:  "Example I have given you:  to serve and to give your life for others"

Finish as every day
